AHHAA Science Centre, host to the 2nd PLACES Conference, was established as a special project of the Department of Research and Institutional Development of the University of Tartu (founded in 1632).

A citizen consultation meeting was held at Villa Bighi in Kalkara, Malta, to discusss intital ideas, plans and opinions about a local action plan on science communication and awareness amongst local citizens. Attached is a copy of the minutes of the meeting including all ideas generated throughout the discussions that took place. The meeting was held on the 15th of March 2012.
