Amsterdam:

A group of key stakeholders in the field of sustainability from all different kind of actors gathered together in a half day event at Science Center NEMO to discuss about the topic of sustainability. Brussels:

The Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences ran a forum on water governance in October 2011 to summarize the main outcomes of the citizens' consultation on water management in Brussels (performed during 2011 and supported by the Brussels Ministry of the Environment). www.openplaces.eu/platform/cities/366/activities/79752 Haifa: MadaTech – Israel's National Museum of Science held a conference event as part of the municipal project to promote a healthy active city. Trento:

Getting the most out of public parks and what kind of activities to promote in order to enliven them: These were the topics investigated by a group of young citizens (under 25) during a meeting hosted by MUSE under the PLACES project. The meeting was the first in a series of planned citizen consultation events planned for the next months which are aiming to collect and share ideas and opinions for the Trento Local Action Plan entitled “Free time, free space”. www.openplaces.eu/updates/news/80274

Malta:

A citizen consultation meeting was held at Villa Bighi in Kalkara, Malta, to discuss initial ideas, plans and opinions about a Local Action Plan involving science communication and awareness among local citizens.
