Startup Lisboa, a bussiness hub created by Lisbon's Municipality, was singled out as an "international startup hub to watch" by Enterpreneur magazine: http://www.entrepreneur.com/slideshow/226477#5. Startup Lisboa goals are fully in line with the city LAP's idea of bringing together science, technology and enterpreneurship.

Beta-i and the Municipality of Lisbon - of the city partnership -, launched the Lisbon Challenge, an ambitious 4-month acceleration program aimed at startups in growth phase. The program will select 75 teams who will have access to more than 200 international mentors and investors who will assist them in competing for the grand prize. Applications for startups of any sector are open until May 31.
