Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences

Founded in 1846, the RBINS is a Belgian Federal Institute under the Belgian Science Policy Office (Belspo). With more than 400 staff members, the RBINS is the largest Belgian institution dealing with research, expertise, collection management and public awareness on natural sciences issues (taxonomy, ecology, geology, marine sciences, anthropology, paleontology…).
